The creation of a non-discriminatory working environment characterized by respect and appreciation is an important objective of the University of Graz. Any form of (sexual) harassment, discrimination, and violence is a violation of human dignity and will not be tolerated at the University of Graz.
All members of the University of Graz are required to contribute to a working environment free of discrimination. In the event of (sexual) harassment, discrimination, or bullying, the University provides free, anonymous, and confidential counseling services to affected parties, witnesses, and managers.

Act4Respect hotline
Act4Respect offers information, advice and support in cases of sexual harassment in the workplace - for victims, their relatives, witnesses, employers or companies.
The telephone helpline is available free of charge and anonymously throughout Austria on Mondays from 11 am to 2 pm and Thursdays from 4 pm to 7 pm on 0670/600 70 80.
The TARA counseling center
provides information, counseling and crisis intervention sessions as well as psychotherapy for women and girls (aged 16 and over) who have experienced sexual violence. They also offer support for caregivers (partners, teachers, caregivers) or trusted persons of victims.
