There are many opportunities for students of the MA Interdisciplinary Gender Studies to spend time abroad during their studies. CEEPUS Network Sociology for Societies - Understanding Socio-Cultural Changes in Contemporary Societies (Cooperation)
CEEPUS stands for Central European Exchange Program for University Studies and is an exchange program with countries from Central and South Eastern Europe. CEEPUS can be used to finance study visits to participating partner universities. Study visits can last between 3 and 10 months, but students can also go to the respective universities for short stays, for example to work on their Master's thesis.
There is a cooperation between the Coordination Center for Gender Studies and Equal Opportunities and the Institute of Sociology at the University of Graz, which enables students of the Master's program in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies to apply for stays within the framework of the CEEPUS network "Sociology for Societies - Understanding Socio-Cultural Changes in Contemporary Societies". The following universities are involved in this network: University of Zadar (Zadar, Croatia); Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic); University of Maribor (Maribor, Slovenia); University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts (Ljubljana, Slovenia); University of Split (Split, Croatia); University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Political Sciences (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina); University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Philosophy (Novi Sad, Serbia).

Central perspectives in the Master's programme in Gender Studies at HU Berlin are academic criticism, interdependencies of gender and other social categorizations, transdisciplinarity, and the connection of acquired knowledge to areas of practice and application. There are modules in the areas of interdependencies, knowledge, standardizations, medializations, transformations, and interventions, among others.

The Master's program is run in cooperation with the University of Tampere. Turku is a university city in south-western Finland; the Gender Department is part of the Faculty of Human Sciences. Turku specializes in cultural studies, with a focus on sexuality and postcolonial studies. Tampere is just under 2 hours by train to the north, where the Gender Studies Department is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences. Focus Tampere: "Gender, Institutions and Politics", activism.

The Department of Gender Studies is part of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Prague. The English-language Master's program in Gender Studies focuses on the theoretical and methodological analysis of gender issues, with a special focus on the analysis and reflection of post-socialist experiences.
Modules offered: History of Feminist Theories, Research Methods in Gender Studies, Academic Writing and Literary Theory, Politics of Identity and Sexualities, Feminist Cultural Studies; there are also a variety of changing elective modules/courses.

Graz International Summer School Seggau - GUSEGG
There is also a great opportunity for students who want to gain an international orientation without spending time abroad: the two-week Graz International Summer School Seggau is organized every year. It is aimed at internationally oriented, highly motivated students from all disciplines who want to deepen their understanding of current European and international affairs. In addition to the opportunity to listen to international lecturers and make new contacts, up to 6 ECTS can also be credited towards your studies.
